Hello there! Welcome new and old visitors to the home of MUD, ROCK, and the OCCASIONAL PIECE of SHIT. We’re approaching the end of this program’s first cycle, which has aired exclusively on WHFR. That cycle will end after two more shows air (#s 9 and 10).

There is a good chance that the new cycle (starting with a new, and hopefully easier, word) will be airing on two stations at once! Your esteemable host has just applied to do a show at WBAR, Barnard College Radio, and if they accept him, we’ll be moving the mudrockin’ to a second home. While I can’t promise I will not recycle material (as all of my re-runs have shown: I’m quite lazy), I think both broadcasts will be quite different, since my approach to live shows and edited shows is quite different. And with 3 hours of clues per week, maybe we can actually get a winner this time!

Before we embark on a second cycle, if you have any comments or suggestions on how the first cycle went, feel free to post them in the comments (even though they’re labeled “questions” for the game, feel free to leave declarative statements).

Just kidding!

This is the weekend when I sit down and weave together several hours of audio to be played over the coming months! I swear!

Also, I have decided that ALL WILL BE REVEALED in these next 3 shows, culminating in show #10. I’m tired of our current mystery word, and I’d like to start over. Especially now that you all know how to play the game.

In other words, you’re running out of time to guess and win THE SECRET PRIZE.
